Need to Know

• A National Park Service entrance pass for Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is required for each vehicle:

  $25 Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore entrance fee (1-7 days).

  $45 Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Annual pass (if camping more than 7 days).

• This park is not part of the Michigan State Park & Recreation System, our fees are separate from the Michigan Recreation Passport.

• ALL CAMPERS MUST CHECK-IN at the D.H. Day Campground Office during hours posted at the front door.

  Return in the morning if the office is closed when you arrive.  

  When checking-in, please bring your site number, license plate number, and entrance pass (if you purchased one prior to arrival).

• No more than two vehicles permitted on this site. Only one may be a truck camper, camper van, camper trailer, boat trailer, or motorhome (RV).

  Ask about overflow parking options at reservation check-in.

• NOTICE: This site NOT suitable for vehicles with roof-top tents!
