Need to Know
This site is NOT adjacent to the river. If you prefer a riverside site, please consult the campground map and choose a different site. Food storage regulations are strictly enforced in this campground. Generator use is allowed at this site between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. There are no hookups or showers at this campground. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash and may not be left unattended.
D09 is a handicap accessible site with a mixture of sun and shade. The site has a level double-wide concrete parking/RV pad, gravel tent pad, table, and fire ring. A gravel path connects the site with a handicap accessible restroom.
This site meets ADA (accessibility) standards and also offers a 5 amp electrical outlet intended for the purpose of operating medical equipment ONLY, e.g. a CPAP machine. ADA sites with an outlet are A3, D9 and G6. These sites will be rented in advance to persons requiring the electrical outlet for medical use or an ADA site. Non-electric ADA sites are A4, A26, E3, E13, G2, G4 and H13. This site may be rented by persons not requiring ADA site if all other sites are reserved.
Please notify campground staff the day of your arrival either in person or by phone during business hours (8:30a-4:30p) if you require the 5-amp outlet for medical use. There is a padlock on this site to prevent misuse. Persons desiring to use the 5 amp electrical outlet may be required to show written proof upon arrival of a need to operate medical equipment, i.e. a doctor's prescription. Improper use of the electricity will trip the breaker and staff may not be available to reset the breaker. There is no extra fee for electricity.
- Caution: Bears and other wildlife frequent the area. All food and equipment used to prepare and store food must be kept in a sealed vehicle or camping unit of solid, non-pliable material AT ALL TIMES when not in use. All scented items, as well as all water containers MUST be stored. Dispose of garbage promptly in dumpsters provided. Unattended or improperly stored coolers, food and/or scented items may be impounded by campground staff. Violators are subject to fines.
- You must check-in with the campground office staff UPON ARRIVAL to complete your reservation. If you arrive after the office is CLOSED for the day then you must check-in with the campground staff the following day between 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. Failure to check-in with the office staff may forfeit your reservation.
Firewood Restriction: Only heat-treated firewood bundled in its original packing and bearing a certification seal from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) or a state department of agriculture may be brought into the park. This rule is strictly enforced. Campers may also collect dead and down wood in the park for campfires.
