Need to Know
- Check in: Guests must check in and out with park staff. Unless other arrangements are made, check-in is at 10 AM at the Clubhouse.
Building size and furnishings:
Room sizes: The max.capacity is 96 people. The ballroom is 60' x 25' and will seat 96. The warming kitchen is 168 sq ft. with 32 sq. ft. of counter space. 2 other rooms are available.
Furnishings: The building is furnished with 12- 60" round tables (8 persons ea), 8 - 3'x6' rectangular tables and 110 folding chairs plus a sofa and chairs at one fireplace. No other furnishings are provided. Tablecloths, tableware, projectors, screens, extension cords, paper towels, etc. are the responsibility of the renter.
Electric outlets: There is an electric outlet in each room plus 6 outlets in the warming kitchen and 12 in the ballroom.
Lighting: The interior lighting is low intensity. There is no exterior lighting - outside paths are not lighted. Users should bring flashlights for night use.
No kitchen: There is no kitchen and no cooking facilities. Outlets in the warming kitchen can be used to keep food warm. There is a double sink with hot/cold running water.
Catering: The use of caterers is allowed. Caterers must call the park 48 hrs in advance.
There is no heat or air conditioning: The ballroom has 4 ceiling fans. There are two fireplaces with gas fireplace logs that produce virtually no heat. . Portable heaters of any kind are prohibited.
Restrooms: There are no restrooms inside. Accessible restrooms with cold running water, flush toilets, electric lights and hand dryers are located about 150' from the building.
Parking is very limited. The parking lot has only 15 reserved spaces. Additional parking is first-come, first-served at the nearby Jakes Creek trailhead. Users should encourage carpooling or consider shuttling guests from outside the park. Shuttle busses may not exceed 25'.
Alcohol: The use of alcohol is permitted in the building, consistent with regulations and law.
Noise: Sound amplification is allowed inside only.
Decorations: Decorations must be portable and limited to items which will sit on the floor or tables. The pinning or taping of decorations is prohibited. Candles, oil lamps and open flame devices are prohibited.
Clean-up: General clean up is the responsibility of the user. The facility must be left as found, e.g. tables and chairs returned to storage racks and floors swept. Trash cans and general cleaning supplies are provided. All trash must be in cans and left inside the building. If the facility is not left in good condition, the deposit will be forfeited.
No smoking: Smoking is not allowed in the building.
Signing: Directional signing, balloons, exterior banners, etc. are all prohibited. Users should assure that invitees are provided with directions.
Weddings and wedding receptions: Persons wishing to use the Clubhouse for a wedding, wedding reception and/or wedding photography will require an additional Special Use Permit. Persons who hire a commercial wedding planner must use a business with a Commercial Use Authorization. Visit www.nps.gov/grsm/planyourvisit/permits.htm. Applications for Special Use Permits must be received 14-days in advance.

- Please note that a $400 deposit fee will be charged to your credit card in addition to the rental fee. The deposit fee will be refunded after your use, provided that none of the conditions for use were violated and that a post-event inspection reveals no damage. You will be notified if the deposit fee will be forfeited.
Reservations made more than 30 days in advance require a 25-percent partial payment with the remainder due 30 days out.
