Swede Mountain Trail

Bureau of Land Management, Alaska.

Located at mile 19.5 of the Denali Highway this trail is for foot traffic only. The trail is approximately ѕ of a mile one way and has an elevation gain of 1500 feet. Appropriate foot wear is advised as the trail is strenuous and fairly wet over the first .25 mile. Allow for 1.5 hours for in/out. Provides outstanding views of the Tangle Lakes, Amphitheater Mts., and Alaska Range. OHV’s are not allowed on this trail
