Need to Know
A covered pavilion is shared by all 3 sites in Poplar Grove. Picnic tables are available at each site. Excess vehicles are parked at Camp Round Meadow approximately 1 mile from Poplar Grove. Quiet hours are 10pm-6am. Firewood is available at Poplar Grove. Firewood donations encouraged. Dead and down wood may be collected for use in the fire circles and grills. Fires are permitted only in the grills and fire circle. No generators are allowed.
Poplar Grove is open only to organized youth groups where at least 50% of its members are under 18 years old. Groups that include family members and siblings other then actual group members are family groups and are not eligible to use Poplar Grove. Parent/child outings during which one parent accompanies each child are permitted.
No pets allowed. No alcohol. Water is approximately 100 feet from any site. Onsite parking: (2) Two vehicles or (1) one vehicle and (1) one utility trailer (unhooked), parked in designated parking spots. Additional vehicles need to be parked at Round Meadow, overnight parking on Manahan Road is prohibited. Groups must hike in Winter through Spring.
- Poplar Grove Youth Group Campground is not available on a Walk-In basis; reservations must be made by phone or online in order to camp at this facility. There is a minimum booking window of 2 days - earliest date to reserve will be 2 days from today.
WATER WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE on site beginning in 2023. All water for drinking, cooking and cleaning must be provided by the reservation holder.
