Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore also accepts payment in person during Operating Hours and honors valid Interagency Passes (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.). If you already own one of these, you do not need to purchase a site pass. For more information visit Fees & Passes on the park website.
Do NOT purchase a digital site pass now if you:
NOTE: The Michigan Recreation Passport is only valid for state parks and recreation areas and does NOT allow access to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
You are purchasing a digital site pass that is valid only for weekly entrance fees at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore requires all visitors to pay an entrance fee except children under 16 years of age.
Entrance passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, will not be replaced if lost or stolen and will be void if altered or reproduced.
Passholders MUST print a copy of this pass and display it on the vehicle's dashboard with the QR code visible. Those traveling in open-topped vehicles or on motorcycles should carry the pass with them and be prepared to present it to NPS staff upon request.
Long lines at the entrance to the Scenic Drive and the Dune Climb are common during peak visitation in the summer. Purchasing this pass does not provide for special or faster entry into the Lakeshore.
