National Forests and Grasslands in Texas
Located on the north shore of the 750-acre Coffee Mill Lake, Coffee Mill Recreation Area was completed in 1968 with additional major construction in the early 1990s. The lake was built in the 1930s and provides many recreation opportunities. Coffee Mill Recreation Area provides a paved boat ramp, picnic spots and campsites. Tent camping and limited RV space is available. A new 60-foot floating fishing pier was added in 2019.
This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis as parking is limited. Once on-site, follow the posted instructions. For additional information, you can download and sign into the free Recreation.gov mobile app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited cellular service: https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app
All visitors are recommended to either display a printed copy of the pass on the dashboard of the vehicle or have the verification code available on your mobile device. If using the printed Day Pass display it with the QR code and pass information visible on your vehicle dashboard. If purchasing onsite, please have the Recreation.gov app downloaded prior to arrival. Once purchased please write down confirmation number on provided envelope and post in vehicle dashboard.

This pass does not guarantee parking availability. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be fined and towed. This pass is valid until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass. There is no room for RVs due to limited space in the parking area.
All honored passes are displayed on the fee area bulletin board. Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
