Alsea Falls Recreation Site Day Pass

Alsea Falls Recreation Site Day Pass allows you to access our Alsea Falls Recreation Site by creating advance day use passes before you arrive at the site. This will allow you to pre-pay using a charge card or debit card instead of cash only once you arrive at the site.

For camping reservations visit: https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/255205. Vehicle day use is not included in camping reservations.

Alsea Falls Day Use is available on a first-come, first served basis only for day use. Visitors must physically arrive at the site to claim a parking spot and pay the required fee. Once on-site, pay the fee by scanning the QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app. Download and sign into the free Recreation.gov mobile app on Android or iOS prior to your arrival as there is no to poor cellular service at the site.

Alsea Falls has numerous hiking and mountain biking trails to enjoy which can access two waterfalls, Alsea Falls and Green Peak Falls out of McBee Park. Visitors will picnic, hike, wade in the water, watch salmon attempt to jump Alsea Falls in the fall/winter months, photograph nature and just relax. An occasional wedding may take place under a special recreation permit, which is processed by emailing blm_or_SRP@blm.gov with the request.
