Uchee Shooting Range is located the Tuskegee National Forest in Macon County Alabama and is operated and managed by USDA Forest Service, National Forest in Alabama. It is an unsupervised public range where firearms enthusiasts can practice target shooting from 20, 50, and 100 yards.
All visitors must possess a valid pass at day use fee sites where required. A printed copy of the pass is recommended. If you cannot print your pass, please write down your confirmation and have it available upon request
This pass does not guarantee parking availability. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be fined and towed. This pass is valid until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and person specified for this pass. There is no room for RVs due to limited space in the parking area.
You must bring your own paper targets and stands. The discharge of firearms anywhere other than the shooting range is prohibited, except during hunting season.
The facility is open sunrise to sunset year-round. Visitor should visit the forest Know Before You Go website to make s ure the range has not been closed for administrative purposes.
The Maintenance contractor's cleaning schedule is every Monday, and the range will be closed for approximately 1 hour between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. If Monday is a Federal Holiday, the contractor may elect to clean the range on Tuesday.
No Golden Age Passport or America the Beautiful Interagency Pass discounts are applicable.
Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
