Dry Creek Trail System Pass

Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest

The Dry Creek Trail System is located on the west side of Johns Mountain in the Ridge and Valley province of North Georgia on the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. The Dry Creek Trail System offers 26 miles of multi-use trails designed for horseback riding, mountain biking, and hiking.   

The parking lot consists of parking spurs for approximately 30 trailers, an ADA vault toilet, an ADA horse mounting ramp, wildlife proof trash cans, a picnic shelter, and pedestal grill.

The Dry Creek Trail System is open year-round. 

A Parking Pass is required for each vehicle to park in the area. The pass is only good for the day purchased.

An Annual Pass is available for purchase here and at all Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest District Offices.

All vehicles are required to have a parking pass. Visitors are required to show proof of payment when asked by a Forest Service employee.

Once the pass is purchased, it is advised to write down the confirmation number and post it in a visible location on the vehicle dashboard. 

This pass does not guarantee parking availability. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be fined and towed. This pass is valid until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.

America the Beautiful Passes: Senior, Access, Military, Gold Star, Veteran, and Golden Age Senior/Access area accepted at this site. These passes cover 50% of the fee associated with this parking area.

Passes are non-transferrable between vehicles, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced. 

Cell phone connectivity on the forest may be limited, plan ahead.
