Lake Mcclellan Utv/Atv Area Pass

Cibola National Forest and Grasslands

The Lake McClellan UTV/ATV Area Trailhead is located outside of the Lake McClellan Campground. This multiple-use trail system is approximately 10 miles in length with a difficulty rating of light to moderate.

Passes are per (1) Off Highway Vehicle (OHV). You may print the pass and keep it with the vehicle, print a copy for each operator to carry, or send and download the pass to your device(s).

UTV's and ATV's may be used on designated trails only. Jeeps, pickups, and dune buggies (sand rails) may not be used on the UTV/ATV Trail.

Trails are closed the second Friday through Sunday in December for a youth hunt in the area.

If purchasing your Day Pass on-site, no printed copy of the pass will be available. Instead, your license plate number and pass stored on your device will be used to confirm compliance.

A pass is required per OHV and covers the use of the OHV on the specified trail. You must enter the license plate for the tow vehicle that will be at the trailhead. Passes can be downloaded to each rider's phones, and/or printed ahead of time and carried on the trail. You can enter separate emails for each rider, or the purchaser can forward to an email or text the pass to each rider.

This pass is valid until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.

Care should be taken in the woods during big-game season. Wear blaze orange. Riding gear recommended. Trails are closed the second Friday through Sunday in December for a youth hunt in the area.

Passes are non-transferrable between OHVs, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.

A state driver's license must be available for each OHV operator to show during a law enforcement compliance check.

Cell phone connectivity on the forest may be limited, plan ahead.
