Boykin Springs Day Use Pass Pass

National Forests and Grasslands in Texas

Boykin Springs Recreation Area, built in 1938 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), surrounds a 9-acre spring-fed lake and offers camping, picnicking, hiking, fishing or just getting in touch with nature.

Boykin Springs is known for the spring-fed creek that meanders through the campground and for the picturesque longleaf pine stands that surround the greater area and provide habitat for the endangered red cockaded woodpecker.

The Sawmill Hiking Trail winds through the forest to the Neches River and the Aldridge Sawmill Site, ruins of a turn-of-the-century sawmill.

All visitors must display a valid pass at day use fee sites where required. Please write down your confirmation number on a provided fee envelope onsite and display in vehicle dash.

This pass does not guarantee parking availability. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be fined and towed.

This pass is valid until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass. There is no room for RVs due to limited space in the parking area.

All honored passes are displayed on the fee area bulletin board.

Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
