Temple's Lake Park is a day use park open March 1 - September 30. The Park is open from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm. During the winter, October 1 - February 28, one boat ramp and fishing area remain open. It is a day-use facility with over 60 picnic sites and one reservable group area on Belton Lake. The lake provides some of the best fishing and boating in Central Texas and the park offers amenities such as flush toilets, showers, a playground, a swim beach and two two-lane boat ramps. The group area must be reserved at www.recreation.gov. Glass containers are NOT allowed in Temple's Lake Park. Due to the area's popularity, the park may close due to overcrowding.
This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the park to claim a parking space and pay the fee. Once on-site, follow the posted instructions. For additional information, you can download and sign into the free Recreation.gov mobile app on Android or iOS prior to your arrival to make sure you can access the site when you scan the QR code to pay your fee: https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app
All visitors to Temple's Lake Park must pay a day use fee. You will need to download the recreation.gov app to your mobile device in order to pay by QR code. Once you have purchased your day use pass, please download the pass on your mobile device. The pass must be available to show at all times when visiting the park. If a pass cannot be provided, your license plate number will also be collected for compliance.
Entry to parks is based on parking availability in day use areas and is first come first served. If you exit the park during the day, re-entry is not guaranteed as it is based on park capacity.
I you have an America the Beautiful pass or USACE Annual Day Use Pass, you do not have to purchase a Day Use Activity Pass as long as the America the Beautiful or ADUP pass is visibly displayed so that it can be seen thru your windshield.
For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be cited and could be towed.
This pass is valid until closing of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.

Please keep your dogs on a leash and out of the designated swim beach area, and bag and dispose of your trash in the dumpsters provided.
