Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit
The RV Village provides a Lake Tahoe and Camp Richardson Resort experience unlike any other. Featuring beach access, and all the amenities you can think of within walking distance, guests get to bask in the remarkable beauty of Tahoe without sacrificing the resort experience. The campground has 20 Full Hookup RV sites and 78 Water/Electric RV sites. Each RV site has a picnic table, and fire pit with cooking grate. Some sites have a bear-proof food locker.
The RV Village is nestled in the beautiful pines of the Sierra Nevadas. A short 10 minute walk to Lake Tahoe along a paved bike path. There is a Bar and Grill, General Store with Deli, Full Service Marina, and Ice Cream Parlor on site.
Each site is equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring with grate for cooking. Some sites have a bear-proof food storage locker. Flush toilets and showers are available in peak season, restroom facilities and dump station close during winter.
Fire wood and camping supplies are available for purchase at the General Store.
Check in is at the Eagles Nest Campground Kiosk located on HWY 89. On-site security, Property is staffed 24 hrs.

Check-in is at the Kiosk at the entry to the Eagle's Nest Campground off of HWY 89 during peak season. During the off season, please check in at the hotel lobby directly across the street from this campground.
Our campsites have sewer and water available during the non peak season. We put heat tape around the water spigot on the sites that are currently open.
Dump Station is closed from mid November to mid May.
Bears frequent the area; all food must be kept in food storage lockers at the site or within RV.
Forest Order No. 19-15-01: Prohibits camping for a combined total of no more than 14 days during a calendar year (January-December), forest-wide. Visitors may book campsites annually but the maximum stay may not exceed a total of 14 days each calendar year (January-December).
1 Trailer or Mobile Home and 1 tent are allowed at site with the addition of a tow vehicle or additional vehicle.
Maximum 6 people per site.
Campfires are permitted in the provided designated metal fire rings only, and must be attended at all times.
Charcoal BBQs are not allowed within the campgrounds or on the beach.
Quiet time is between 10pm and 8am.
Reservation holders must be present at check-in with ID.

The RV Village is located 3 miles south of Tahoe City, on California Highway 89 (Emerald Bay Road).
From Sacramento, take U.S. Highway 50 to South Lake Tahoe and proceed north past the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and Highway 89 (the "Y"). Look for the Camp Richardson Resort sign on the right side of the Highway.
From North Shore (I-80, Reno, Truckee) take Highway 89 or U.S. Highway 50 to South Shore.
