Mazama Village Campground
Crater Lake National Park
Located just over 6 miles south of Crater Lake's Rim Village, the 214-site Mazama Village Campground is Crater Lake National Park’s largest campground. As you exit off Highway 62, pass through the NPS Annie Springs entrance station and the road to the campground will be located on your right. Mazama Village Campground is perfect for tent and RV camping and provides necessary amenities to all campers. Each campsite features a picnic table, fire ring with a grill and a bear-resistant food locker.
Mazama Village Campground is open only in summer. It typically opens in June and closes in late September. The exact opening and closing dates are determined each year by the snow level in the camp sites, safety issues, and other factors.
Each campsite has a bear locker for food storage, picnic table, fire ring and access to restrooms close by. Cell service within the campground is limited. Camp hosts are available onsite. Showers are available in the F loop of the campground and at Mazama Village Camp Store during store hours. Firewood, groceries, and fuel are available for purchase at the Mazama Village Camp Store. Annie Creek Restaurant and Gift Shop are located across from the Mazama Village Camp Store.

ADA Information
Mazama Campground is at 6,000 feet in elevation with no additional gain of elevation throughout the campground. It is in a forest so some sites have tree stumps, downed logs, rocks, and other natural obtrusions. All sites have paved parking for two cars or an RV. The road and access to water, restrooms, and trash receptacles are paved. 5 RV sites are designated accessible: 2 with electrical hookups, 3 have no hookups. These sites are not consistently similar in size or accessible amenities. At reservation time, ascertain that the site accommodates your needs. If a site is not available or hookups are required, contact one of the private campgrounds outside the park for those amenities. A list can be downloaded here. The amphitheater, located between D & E loops, has no accessible parking, and the access paths are soft soil without lighting. Speak with the ranger presenting the program about safe access and other needs.
VEHICLES AND BICYCLES
To protect the vegetation, please keep all vehicles including motorcycles, trailers, and autos on paved surfaces. Ride bicycles on the road not between campsites or on trails.
FOOD STORAGE
When not in use, all of your food, garbage, cooking equipment, storage containers (e.g. ice chests), and toiletries (soaps, toothpaste, etc.) must be kept in your vehicle or in the bear-resistant locker provided at your campsite.
PETS
At the campsite, and when walking the paved areas including the road, pets must be on a 6 foot or shorter leash that is held and controlled by a person. Crater Lake National Park has specific rules for visiting with your pets. For more information on park-wide rules, please visit https://www.nps.gov/crla/planyourvisit/pets.htm
Natural Features
The campground is nestled in an old-growth forest at 6,000 ft. (1,829 m) in elevation. Situated on a bluff roughly 200 feet above Annie Creek, the campground is tucked away in a forest of lodgepole pine, and it is composed of seven loops lettered A thru G that are primarily built for tent/car camping.
