Tushar Lakeside Campground

Fishlake National Forest

Located within the majestic Tushar Mountain Range, Tushar Lakeside Campground is nestled in a forest of aspen and mixed conifer. This is a popular destination for large youth groups. The lake and small meadow offer ample recreation opportunities to visitors.

This campground is managed by Beaver County, Utah. To check site availability and make reservations, visitors should visit Beaver County’s facility rental website at https://secure.rec1.com/UT/beaver-county-ut/catalog.

Facilities include three large group sites and several individual sites equipped with tables and fire pits. Water and flush toilets are available inside the campground.

Need to Know

A Fee of $6.00 for extra vehicle will be collected at the facility. Additional camping units are $12.00 over night, payable at the facility. Caution: Bears frequent the area. Please bring garbage bags. This facility is ''Pack In. Pack it out''. ATV's must be trailered out of the campground to the trailhead to ride.

Nearby Attractions

Skyline National Recreation Trail for hiking is a short drive away along with the Piute ATV Trail. There is no ATV access from the campground; riders must trailer to the trailhead.

Driving Directions

Travel east of Beaver approximately 10 miles on SR 153, and then turn right on to Forest Road 137 for about 5 miles.
