No open fires (this includes charcoal) are permitted anywhere in the park. Only stoves or lanterns using containerized fuel are permitted.
Dog Canyon Campground is remote. Fuel your vehicle and purchase supplies before heading to the park.
Keep all food and related items - beverages, toiletry items, cooking utensils, stoves, pet food (empty or full), and food and beverage containers such as coolers, ice chests, and water jugs - locked inside your vehicle, unless in immediate use. Bear resistant food containers must be kept in a vehicle or in a hard-sided camping unit.
A free Wilderness Use Permit for all trail riding in the park must be obtained at the Pine Springs Visitor Center.
Tent camping is not permitted in an RV campsite.
