Need to Know
Gathering firewood is prohibited. Fire restrictions may be in place; check park website or Visitor Center for more information.
Bears are active in Bandelier. All food and scented items must be secured. Food lockers are provided at site. Clean up your campsite before leaving. Campers are responsible for maintain a clean campsite at all times.
The natural terrain must not be altered in any way. Leveling ground, digging trenches, etc. is prohibited.
Archeological artifacts and sites, plants and animals must not be disturbed in any way. Driving nails into trees, stripping bark, leaves or branches from trees or shrubs is prohibited.
Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and are not allowed on any park trails.
