THIS TENT CAMPING SITE IS FOR 10 OR MORE PEOPLE ONLY.
For groups between 10-25 people, the camping fee is $20 per night. For groups of 26 - 40 people, the fee is $30 per night. Check-out is at 11:00 and reservations may be made up to 12 months in advance.
Gates close at sunset; registered campers arriving after sunset, please call (228) 230-4136 by 4:00 p.m. for gate code.
The Davis Bayou Group Camping Area is located on Boat Launch Road next to pavilion #5. Throughout the year, this area is reservable for large groups of tent campers only. The area is available for groups with a minimum of ten and a maximum of forty people, allows tent camping only, has access to numerous trails and is within short walking distance to the Gulf of Mexico. There are picnic tables and a large fire circle. Persons camping in the group area are limited to the restroom facilities located at pavilion #5 and may not use the facilities in the other campgrounds. Parking is limited, carpooling is recommended.If you have any additional questions or concerns, or need to check-in outside of established times, please call the Davis Bayou Campground Office, at (228) 230-4136 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Central Time).
