Need to Know
Historic preservation of the Buckhorn Ranger Cabin is ongoing in 2024. The Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and Pawnee National Grassland are grateful for the Colorado State Historical Fund for their support through a grant applied for with our valued partner Colorado Preservation Inc. The Ranger Cabin opened for reservation in September. HistoriCorps completed exterior painting and repair of windows on the historic cabins in June and July of 2024.
The cabin remains locked; combination will be provided upon booking. You can also call the Canyon Lakes Ranger District office during office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mountain Time, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, to obtain a combination code.
Pets (including dogs) and livestock are not allowed at the cabin
The cabin is limited to six guests; additional camping on-site is prohibited
