Need to Know
- Starting July 6, 2010, Melvern Lake will be enforcing the national no show policy. If you do not check in with the park attendant within 24 hours of your reservation check-in time, you will be listed as a No SHow, the site will be released, and you will be charged $20.00 and the first night's fee.
- There is a limit of 1 wheeled camper and 1 tent or 2 tents per camp pad. No extra vehicles allowed. Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance 2 night minimum on weekends.
- Please be advised that a Social Event Permit is required for any large group activity taking place on Government Property. A Social Event Permit is required for but is not limited to weddings, anniversaries, celebrations, and reunions. This permit is available free of charge at the Melvern Lake Project Office. Questions regarding the Social Event Permit please contact the Melvern Project Office 785-549-3318.
