This site provides campers with a uniquely deluxe experience of front country comfort in a wilderness setting. This Glamping site boasts a fully covered, weather resistent, 12' x 16' canvas wall tent. Amenities within the tent include:
- Tents accommodate up to 4 guests
- One queen bed with linens (sheets, comforter, pillows)
- A foldable cot with additional floorspace for sleeping bags or air mattresses
- A bedside table and one luggage rack for personal clothing storage
- One fan plus large windows with bug screens
- Front porch with chairs
- Parking beside tent for ease of arrival transition
- A picnic table and fire ring with grill
- Interior/exterior lighting
- Capabilities for both AC and USB charging of personal electronics
- One cooler
- Bathroom facilities are shared with the Lake Powhatan Campground and include hot showers
- Pets are welcome—dogs must be leashed
The site is is supported by one live-in host and additional support staff who provide on-site guest assistance in a concierge-style role. Each tent is cleaned and inspected prior to and following reservations.
