Campsite and campground are subject to closure, from late April through July, as the lake rises.
Gate to this equestrian corral loop is kept closed. There is no lake access, only access to the riding paths.
This site has four corral stalls. It is a double campsite.
The line of rocks is the vehicle barrier. Do not drive vehicles and trailers onto the camping pad.
This site can have tents up to the maximum occupancy of 16 people. 8 - two person tents, or 4- four person tents, or 2 -eight person family tents, or combination there of to equal up to sixteen persons. Keep tents close to campsite pad. Do not take tents off the site or spread out to areas below. The area could be wet from recent high water.
Hammocks will need to use a frame. There is no tying of items to trees or other structures.
There is no off -roading vehicles allowed. The paths are for horse, bike, or foot traffic only.
Horses can be ridden on the paths only. They are not to be ridden on the paved roads in the other parts of the campground and nearby recreation areas. The old hwy 198 is an approved path for riding, biking, and hiking.
Campsite subject to flooding during high water season (April to July approximately)
Be campfire safe. Do not leave the campfire unattended. The campfire should be completely cold / put out upon departure.
This double campsite had no shade. It is great for night sky viewing.
The horse corrals are not anchored down. They are removed annually for the high water season from April to July approximately. Removal is approximately the end of March for the earliest depending on start of snow melt. They are put back up in August depending on the heat of the summer. It can be delayed until start of our horse riding season approximately from 1 October to 31 March annually .
There is a water trough for the horses up near campsite 84's corral stalls.
