Campsite and campground are subject to closure, from late April through July, as the lake rises.
During high water, campsite is backpack in only, no vehicles. Parking on Hwy 198 in overflow. Walk in down emergency access road near picnic area.
No parking at picnic area or in the intersection.
Dogs must be on a 6 foot leash. Please clean up after your pet/s.
Site is located on a corner. Parking is a gravel pad beside the main road. All vehicle units cannot impede traffic flow. Those with slide outs may impede traffic flow.
This is a multi level site. The lower pad has the table, fire ring, lantern hook and a tent area. There are no step it is a walk down path. Tent/s cannot be set up off site.
Tents to meet the 8 person occupancy maximum as the site pad allows. 4- two person tents, or 2- four person tents, or 1 family tent for 8 persons.
Hammocks will need to use a frame. Do not tie any items to trees or structures.
Site subject to flooding during high water season (April - July).
Be campfire safe. Do not leave the campfire unattended. The campfire should be completely cold / put out upon departure.
This site does not have any shade. This site does not have a shade cover over the camping pad.
During high water and the road is flooded, backing out maybe the only way to get the vehicle unit out. There is a turn around at the base near site 80 but long rigs are difficult.
