Located on the Purple Trail in Chase Prairie is about 12 miles from the Suwannee Canal Recreation Area. This site has a wide open 360 degree view of the prairie offering great opportunities for wildlife viewing, star gazing, and some of the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
NO FIRES ALLOWED. Please refer to the refuge map for additional information and Know Before You Go tips. Keep trails and platforms free of litter; you must pack out ALL garbage generated from your trip.
Permit holders take full responsibility of knowing the distance between overnight stops.
