Permit holders take full responsibility of knowing the distance between overnight stops.
The platform, located on the red trail, is at the north end of Big Water Lake tucked into the edge of a beautiful stand of cypress trees. The area provides great fishing opportunities (seasonally) as well as night sky and sunrise/sunset viewing.
