• Anywhere on Oak Island except within 0.25 mile from other campers, buildings or historic structures, flowing streams, and trails.
• Camping zones provide opportunities for campers seeking a remote backcountry experience without any facilities. Only one camping party is allowed per zone per night. Parties are limited to a maximum of five campers and two tents. Campfires can only be built on a sand beach near the water's edge below where vegetation grows.
