There are presently 17 campsites in the Presque Isle campground.
Location: Sites are spaced along a 3/4 mile stretch of shoreline on Presque Isle Bay. Site 2 is the closest to the dock (about 100 yards) with site 19 being the farthest. All sites have lake views.
Amenities: Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, food locker, and tent pads. Three sets of vault toilets and spaced throughout the campground near sites 3/4, 8/10, 13/15. Potable water is sometimes available near site 1.
Access: Sand ladder for beach access. Boaters can use the dock or anchor in the bay. Many campsites no longer have beach access due to erosion.
There are presently 17 campsites in the Presque Isle campground. Site #1 is an "accessible" campsite within 100 yards of the Stockton Island visitor center. A boardwalk leads from the dock to the campsite and the site features an accessible picnic table, fire ring, and bear locker.
