Need to Know
- Alaska cabin reservations can only be changed once. If you need to modify your reservation a second time,it must be cancelled and then re-booked by calling 1-877-444-6777.*Effective November 17, 2003 to assure fairness for everyone.*
Open fires must be in firering, collect dead/down wood only.
Cabin primitive, no amenities except propane heater and outhouse.
Stream water must be boiled or treated for drinking. All garbage must be
packed out. Cabin is a public use shelter from 10 am to 5 pm daily.
Environment: Sub Alpine meadows, mountain hemlock and pine forest. Deer,
black and brown bear. Meadows very wet.

Sweeping views, wild flowers, cross country skiing. Large cabin. Propane
for heater provided. Trailhead is near busline.
Directions to Campground:
13 miles northwest of Juneau. Access by 3 1/2 mile trail at mile
marker 12.3 Glacier Highway. - Two day stay limit.
