Need to Know
- Approx. 70 mi. South of Juneau, 10 mi. North of Pybus Bay.
Located on saltwater cove inside Gambier Bay. Nearby tide-flat. Within
Kootznoowoo Wilderness; dence spruce-hemlock forest, deer and brown bear,
nearby salmon and halibut fishing.
NOTE: The previous oil stove was recently replaced with a wood stove.

Cabin is primitive, no amentities except for woodstove and outhouse. Open
fires must be in fire ring, collect dead/down wood only. Nearest stream may
go dry. Boat may be needed to reach fresh water source.
Boat is not provided. Stream water must be boiled or treated for drinking.
All garbage must be packed out.
DIRECTIONS: On western shore of a small cove on the south side of Gambier
Bay. Gambier Bay is on the southeastern shore of Admiralty Island.
Floatplane or boat access. One-way flight time from Juneau is one hour.
Access by boat from Stephens Passage; water distance to Juneau is approx.
70 miles.
