Need to Know
- Alaska cabin reservations can only be changed once. If you need to modify your reservation a second time,it must be cancelled and then re-booked by calling 1-877-444-6777.*Effective November 17, 2003 to assure fairness for everyone.*
Open fires must be in firering. Collect dead/down wood only.
Cabin is converted railroad caboose, no amenities except oil stove and
outhouse.
Bring #1 stove oil or kerosene for the oil stove.
Stream water must be boiled or treated for drinking.

Cabin access year round along railroad tracks, 5 1/2 miles north of Skagway along White Pass Railroad.

Easy access to Denver Glacier Trail, 4 1/2 miles long. - Check train schedule to coincide with cabin reservation as train may not operate daily.

Environment: East Fork Skagway River drainage surrounded by rugged
mountains; spruce forest, black & brown bear, mountain goats.
