Need to Know
The picnic shelter, located in the Willow Grove Day Use Recreation Area opens at 6 am and closes at 10 pm. This shelter measures 25' by 50'. It contains 5 picnic tables and 6 side benches. Other amenities include fireplace, pit grill, playground, volleyball, water, and barrier free access. The shelter has no electricity. All picnic items must be removed daily. Parking is limited and is first-come, first-served. Carpooling encouraged. The park is operated by the Corps of Engineers and the marina by a private concessionaire. Visitors using the marina are subject to operating policies and any launch/parking fees associated with the marina. Alcohol is strictly prohibited. Title 36 Regulations apply on Dale Hollow Lake. Ask for a copy at the park or call the Resource Manager at (931) 243-3136.
- Dale Hollow Lake is in a firewood quarantine area with a restricted firewood policy. Only certified heat-treated firewood is allowed to be brought into this location.
- This is a day use area. No overnight camping allowed. Restroom is located within campground. Parking spaces limited.
