Beds: two bunk beds. Mattresses not provided.
Storage Cache: separate building available for storing food and/or hanging game meat.
Drinking Water: cabin is situated on a freshwater lake. Filter/boil all drinking water.
Heating: Nordic 130 oil drip stove; fuel consumption .05 - .15 gallons/hour. Fuel type: kerosene, heating oil, or automotive diesel. Do not attempt to use gasoline or white gas.

Fishing: sockeye salmon, coco salmon, rainbow trout, Dolly Varden
Hunting: bear, deer
Recreation: bear viewing, hiking (off trail), photography, boating.
Tip: this cabin is the highest elevation cabin available for rent on Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge at about 640 feet above sea level
Primitive Conditions: no electricity, plumbing, or cookstove. Outdoor pit toilet only.
Access by float plane only. Cabin is 50 air miles from City of Kodiak (approximately 35 minute flight).
November 1 - March 31: reservations discouraged due to the possibility of lake freeze up.
