Need to Know

  • This site is designed for people with horses. If you do not have horses, please use Group Site B or one of the many group sites in the surrounding area including Lower Onion Creek, Hittle Bottom or Dewey Bridge. There are also additional group sites located around the Moab area. Please call the Moab Field Office for questions about the use of Group Site A (435-259-2100).
  • This site will be closed from 09/29/2018 through 10/06/2018.
  • Equipment allowed = 5 RVs / 10 tents.

  • The Upper Onion Group Site A is tucked into the side of a hill. Vegetation in the area includes small shrubs covering most of the ground, with the occasional juniper tree dotting the landscape.
  • Onion Creek flowing with water and green vegetation lining the creek corridor. In the distance, the Fisher Towers area can be seen. This site is near the Upper Onion Creek Group Site A.
