Bureau of Reclamation, Washington.
Conconully Dam and Reservoir, features of the Okanogan Project, are on Salmon Creek. The dam was originally completed in 1910. Both the lake and reservoir are located in an area of steep-sided hills that have open forests of coniferous and deciduous trees. The reservoir area is especially popular with picnickers. Both water bodies total 760 water surface acres. Anglers will find rainbow trout, cutthroat trout and smallmouth bass. Reservations can be made by calling (888) CAMPOUT or (888) 226-7688, online at reservations, or email at Reservation System Program Manager.
Effective immediately, Reclamation will require all boats launching at Lake Berryessa to participate in a seal program to prevent the spread of invasive mussels. All vessels wishing to launch at Lake Berryessa will be inspected. A red quarantine seal will be applied for 30 days during, which the vessel will not be permitted to launch. Vessels that have finished the 30-day quarantine may return to the lake and have the seal removed by authorized staff and will be allowed to launch.
