In order to enter Arches National Park, visitors will need to pay the park entrance fee. You may purchase a 7-day pass valid only at Arches or an Annual pass valid at Arches, Canyonlands, Hovenweep, or Natural Bridges. If you are visiting other federal recreation areas consider purchasing an Interagency Pass (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.) when you arrive at the park. If you already have one of these passes, you do not need to purchase one of the passes listed above.
Arches National Park is in the heart of canyon country in southeastern Utah and is considered one of America’s scenic wonders. The park preserves 76,679 acres of high desert on the Colorado Plateau, punctuated by rocky ridges, canyons, fins, towers, monoliths, pinnacles, and more than 2,000 arches. Elevations in the park range from 4,085 to 5,653 feet above sea level.
Arches National Park becomes extremely crowded during the park’s busy season from March through October, with the highest visitation occurring in May, June, and September. Since 2010, more than 1 million visitors have visited the park each year. Timed entry tickets are required from April 1 - July 6 and August 28 - October 31, 2025 to enter Arches National Park between 7 AM and 4 PM daily.
