The Tudor Arms Hotel is in the heart of Cleveland's University Circle and cultural neighborhood. Designed in 1929 by the famous architect, Frank Meade, and completed in 1933 as the exclusive Cleveland Club, the building was converted into the Tudor Arms Hotel in 1939. Jazz musicians like Lawrence Welk and Patrice Wymore performed in the grand ballroom, the Empress Room, making it a popular entertainment venue of the time. In 2011, the Tudor Arms Hotel was restored to its former glory through a partnership between MRN Ltd and Hilton.
