Located within the Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument co-managed by the National Park Service and Bureau of Land Management, this remote homestead and ranch in Horse Valley on the Shivwits Plateau was established by Jonathan Deyo Waring in 1925. The site has cabins, corrals, fence lines, water tanks, and two holding ponds.
