Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge
The Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge is a unique retreat to nature within a short drive of the Portland-Vancouver metro area. The Refuge provides a home for local wildlife that live in the area year-round, as well as those that migrate in for a season. With every visit, there is the opportunity to experience something new or expand your learning of what may be familiar to you.
Visitors enjoy a network of trails and an auto tour route to enjoy views of woodlands, open grasslands, wetlands, and the wildlife that use these spaces. Part of the trail network closes seasonally from October 1st through April 31st to limit disturbance to migrating waterfowl. The Refuge is open daily sunrise to sunset, with gate times listed on the website and at the entrance.
This pass covers the day-use fee at Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge for all passengers in a single, private, non-commercial vehicle. For visitors not using a vehicle to access the Refuge, this pass covers up to four adults aged 16 and over. Youth 15 and under are always free.
The pass can be used at all three entrances to the Refuge. All visitors are required to register their pass at the self-service kiosk and display the stub in their car. Visitors without a vehicle may carry the stub on their person.
Passes are non-transferable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
