Dinosaur National Monument also accepts payment in person during Operating Hours and honors valid Interagency Passes (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.). For more information, visit the park's Fees & Passes web page .

All visitors recreating within the boundaries of Dinosaur National Monument are required to have a valid entrance pass and photo ID in their possession at all times. This includes visitors taking part in private or commercial river trips, camping, or any activity within the boundaries of the park. If the pass is not available, an entrance fee will be charged.

Do NOT purchase a digital site pass now if you:

Visitors entering Dinosaur National Monument in a private, non-commercial vehicle, with a passenger capacity of 15 or less should purchase the Private Vehicle Pass. Each private vehicle needs its own pass.

Visitors entering Dinosaur National Monument on a motorcycle will need to purchase a Motorcycle Pass. Each motorcycle needs its own pass.

Visitors entering Dinosaur National Monument on foot, or by bicycle or as part of a commercial rafting trip will need to purchase the Individual/Pedestrian/Cyclist pass. Each individual needs his/her own pass.

All visitors 16 years of age and older are required to pay an entrance fee at Dinosaur National Monument. A pass is not required for visitors aged 15 and under. Print out or download the pass on your mobile device in advance of your visit. Connectivity is limited within the park boundaries. There is no cell service in Echo Park, Jones Hole, Deerlodge and Gates of Lodore. A valid pass can only be upgraded at Dinosaur National Monument. Passes are non-transferable, non-refundable, cannot be replaced if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced. The visitor center helps collect fees, so if the entrance station is closed please show your pass to the ranger at the information desk in the visitor center.

Visitors participating in commercial rafting trips need to purchase a the Individual/Pedestrian/Cyclist Pass for each person 16 years of age and above. 

Visitors entering the park with commercial river companies may prefer to carry a printed copy of their pass.
