Pass Information
Do NOT purchase a digital site pass now if you:
- Have a valid America the Beautiful-the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands annual or lifetime (interagency) pass (ask about pass options and eligibility when you arrive), OR
- Are planning to get an annual or lifetime pass when you arrive (review options in the link above).
This pass is only valid for entrance fees at Mount Rainier National Park.
All visitors at Mount Rainier National Park are required to pay an entrance fee. Please be prepared to show your printed hard copy pass or a digital copy.
The digital receipt or printed hard copy pass must be presented at entrance stations and displayed on the vehicle dashboard at trailheads, campgrounds, and parking areas. At staffed areas like entrance stations, please present identification with your pass.
Passes are non-transferable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
Fee Free Days
Fees are waived at Mount Rainier National Park on the following days:
- Jan 9, 2025: National Day of Mourning for President James Earl Carter, Jr.
- Jan 20, 2025: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Apr 19, 2025: Start of National Park Week
- Jun 19, 2025: Juneteenth National Independence Day
- Aug 4, 2025: Great American Outdoors Act Signing Day
- Sep 27, 2025: National Public Lands Day
- Nov 11, 2025: Veterans Day
