The park also accepts payment at the park during Operating Hours and honors valid Interagency Passes (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.). Visit the park's Fees & Passes page for more information and the Current Conditions page for road and other closures before purchasing the pass.

Do NOT purchase a digital site pass now if:

• You have a valid America the Beautiful-the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands annual or lifetime (interagency) pass (e.g., Senior, 4th Grade, Military, etc.),  OR
• You are planning to get an annual or lifetime pass when you arrive (review options in the link above).

Black Canyon of the Gunnison charges an entrance fee per vehicle. Individual Pedestrian/Cyclist passes are only required for persons entering without a vehicle. All visitors 16 years of age and older must be covered by an entrance fee or pass. 

This pass is only valid for entrance fees at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Please be prepared to show your pass by printing or downloading it to your mobile device prior to arrival. The pass dates and name must match your identification.

Check park operating hours and seasons before your visit as some facilities have limited hours and closures during the winter.

If you plan to visit the North Rim area of the Black Canyon you must print a copy of this pass and display it on the vehicle's dashboard. Those traveling in open-topped vehicles or on motorcycles should be prepared to present a pass to NPS staff upon request. Because of limited payment options at the North Rim the park strongly recommends the purchase of a digital pass. 

Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
