This pass admits the passholder and accompanying passengers of a single, private (non-commercial) vehicle.
All visitors to the Cherokee National Forest must display a valid pass at day use fee sites where required. Day Passes must be chosen based on the district you will be recreating on. Annual Passes are valid for the entire forest.
Most day use sites on the Cherokee National Forest are open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. This pass is valid only while the recreation site is open, and only for the date(s) and vehicle specified for this pass.
If purchasing your pass on-site, no printed copy of the pass will be available. Instead, your license plate number will be used to confirm compliance. Connectivity on sites may be limited, so purchase a pass in advance if possible. Annual Passes must be printed and displayed on your vehicle dashboard with the quick response (QR) code visible at all times during your visit.
This pass does not guarantee parking availability. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be fined and towed.
