Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore
Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore also accepts payment in person during Operating Hours and honors valid Interagency Passes (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.). If you already own one of these, you do not need to purchase a site pass. For more information, visit the park's Fees & Passes web page.
Do NOT purchase a digital site pass now if you:
You are purchasing a digital site pass that is valid only for weekly or annual entrance fees at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore
Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore requires all vehicles to pay an entrance fee. Please be prepared to show your hard copy pass or digital pass on your mobile device.
Entrance passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, will not be replaced if lost or stolen and will be void if altered or reproduced.
Passholders must print a copy of this pass and display it on the vehicle's dashboard. Fold the printed pass on the dotted line and display it on the dashboard, with the QR code visible, at all times during your visit.
Areas of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore have limited or no connectivity. Please print a hard copy before arriving at the park.
If you do not have a printed pass displayed in your vehicle, park law enforcement rangers and fee collectors may verify your pass by entering your license plate number.
The entrance pass does not necessarily expedite entry into the park. Long lines for entrance to Munising Falls are common during peak season, on holidays, and during the summer months. You may help reduce the wait time by having your printed pass ready or displayed on your device when you reach the entrance.
Those traveling in open-topped vehicles or on motorcycles should carry the pass with them and be prepared to present it to NPS staff upon request.
Visitors may trade a paper annual pass for a plastic card pass at the Munising Falls Visitor Center. The plastic card can be assigned to two people and used in any car.
