Reservation conformation is required upon arrival and must be presented to ranger to check in for your program. Mobile service can be spotty in the park and printed or screenshots of reservations are recommended.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your program start time. This allows for parking and checking in with the ranger before program start. Plan ahead to ensure an on-time arrival, park navigation often takes longer than anticipated.
Do not rely exclusively on your mobile GPS, Google Maps, or similar automated navigation systems to get to navigate to your program destination. Review your ticket information for GPS coordinates and use those coordinates for any navigation.
Pets are permitted on all trails inside the park. Pets must be always leashed. Leash cannot be more than 6 feet in length. You must clean up after your pet.
Parking is permitted in designated lots only, absolutely no parking on any road shoulder.
Hiking programs are recommended for ages 5 and up. Choose the best length and trail rating for your group. Evening programs and special events are recommended for ages 5 and up. Biking programs are recommended for ages 11 and up.
Primary Booking Window: Tickets are available 7 days in advance of the tour date at 10 a.m. ET.
Secondary Booking Window: A second batch of tickets will be available 48 hours in advanced at 10am ET.
Programs and tours are free. A non-refundable $1.00 reservation fee per person applies. If you have made reservations and are unable to reschedule or attend your scheduled tour/program, please cancel your reservation to open space for other participants, as all tours and programs are in high demand. Park staff cancel tours and programs for unsafe conditions, including but not limited to insufficient staffing, unsafe water conditions, harmful algae blooms, and extreme or inclement weather. In the event a program is cancelled reservation holders will receive a notification email, and if they have included their phone number in their recreation.gov account, a text message alerting them of the cancelation.
