The Carriage Barn Visitor Center is open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Memorial Day weekend (late May) to October 31. Guided tours of the Mansion and grounds are offered during this season. The park's 20 miles of trails and carriage roads are open year-round. They are available for hiking and equestrian use in the spring, summer, and fall. When winter snows arrive, used only for cross-country skiing.

Please arrive at the Carriage Barn Visitor Center at least 15 minutes in advance of your tour time. Allow at least 15 additional minutes for parking and walking up the site. If you do not arrive at the Carriage Barn Visitor Center before your tour time, your reservation may be cancelled.
Parking for Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park is located at Billings Farm & Museum, 69 Old River Road, Woodstock, VT 05091. After parking, walk towards the Billings Farm & Museum and take the concrete path to the right of the Visitor Center. Walk up the path, cross Elm St using the cross walk, and take the left fork in the road to walk up a short, steep hill towards the Carriage Barn Visitor Center. Additional Information
Accessible parking is available next to the mansion. Please make a note in your reservation or call 802-457-3368 ext. 0 after your booking if you require accessible parking, wheelchair ramp, assisted listening device, or have any other accessibility concerns. There is an elevator in the mansion that allows upper floor access. There are stools available to sit down during guided ranger talks.
There is no air conditioning inside the mansion, and temperatures can reach higher than 90 degrees in July and August. Tours will be cancelled if heat is extreme. Please prepare accordingly and let staff know if you have concerns.
Children 15 and under are only charged a $1 reservation fee per ticket. When booking your reservation, please ensure that you account for all adults AND children, including infants.
Due to the sensitive collection and tight spaces, there are only 12 visitor slots available during each indoor tour.
Tours can be booked online at Recreation.gov until the designated tour time, so long as there is still availability for the desired tour(s).
Photography, including using a flash, is allowed in all guided tour areas. Please be courteous to other visitors.
Backpacks, food, and drink (including water) must be left outside the mansion before entry. Storage lockers are available in the Carriage Barn Visitor Center.
The first floor of the mansion is open free of charge on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:30pm-2:30pm. Meet a ranger on the front porch to secure a timed entry. No tickets are required.
Tickets are available 60 days in advance at 10 a.m. ET.
There is a $1 non-refundable reservation fee per ticket in addition to the ticket fee. If you cancel up to two hours before your tour time, the remainder of the ticket fee will be refunded.
