Blue Heron Overlook Gazebo

The Blue Heron Overlook Gazebo located at the end of the Blue Heron Overlook Trail provides a spectacular view of the Big South Fork River Gorge. The gazebo can accommodate up to 75 people and has built in benches along the sides for seating and modern wood decking. The Gazebo may be reserved for up to 5 hours at a time, between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm (ET). Access is hike-in only by a paved trail that is 0.2 miles from a large parking lot with a vault toilet facility. This overlook is popular for weddings and offers a unique vantage point to watch spectacular sunrises.

Blue Heron Overlook Gazebo is a Day Use Area, no overnight camping is permitted.

Maximum occupancy: 75 people.

Reservations include time for setup and tear-down.

Access is hike-in only. No motorized/electric vehicles may be driven on the paved trail to the Gazebo location under any circumstances.
