Enjoy a slice of the East Meadow all to yourselves where you can relish in the outdoor beauty while hosting a small gathering or picnic. Bring your own food or buy prepared meals at one of the rotating cast of mobile food vendors . Throw down the blanket, laugh, tell stories, and share in your favorite food traditions, surrounded by amazing views. East Meadow is adjacent to Picnic Place and is part of the Presidio Tunnel Tops , within the Presidio of San Francisco. The Presidio Tunnel Tops are built on top of the Presidio Parkway tunnels, with amazing Golden Gate views you can't find anywhere else in San Francisco. This unique destination connects the historic center of the Presidio to the park's Crissy Field waterfront.
If you are looking for a picnic table to accompeny this lawn space the picnic tables at Picnic Place may be reserved via Recreation.gov and are also open to use first-come, first-served if not reserved.

This reservation is for the East Meadow Partial Lawn only. The person named on the reservation confirmation email is known as the ('Reservation Holder'). The Reservation Holder shall comply, and shall cause all Reservation Holder's guests, visitors, and invitees (collectively, 'Reservation Holder's Parties') to comply with all regulations and Terms and Conditions of the Trust. The Date(s) and Time(s) specified in the reservation is inclusive of set-up, break-down and load-out.
A $100.00 deposit is required. The deposit will be refunded if all Terms and Conditions are followed including leaving the Reservation Location clean at the end of this reservation.
